Markku Salo

Markku Salo is a Finnish artist known for his glass artisanship. Born in Nokia, Finland in 1954, his portfolio is full of original art pieces that range from very small to grand in scale. All of his art pieces are handcrafted using glassblowing techniques at the Nuutajärvi Glass Village in Finland. Impressive works such as his Arabian Nights Bottles and his Torso Vases are examples of his wonderful use of color, scale and artistic ability. A glass artist for around 27 years, he continues to grow and add to his prolific portfolio and his extreme knowledge of the craft has earned him deserved prestige.
