Marimekko Keisarinna
From the beautiful brain of designer Erja Hirvi, many of her prints are inspired by the beauty of nature. Keisarinna, Finnish for "Empress", displays a scene of blossoming magnolia flowers. Existing even before bees, the magnolia flower is a very old plant species and is among the first flowers to burst into bloom in the Spring. As evident from Hirvi’s print, this floral-based design adds a lightness and a sense of renewal into any space. Available in a variety of colors and on various Marimekko products for the home, this prints versatility has been enchanting consumers since 2007.
