iittala Ultima Thule Vases

Inspired by Tapio Wirkkala's iconic Ultima Thule glassware, the series is newly seen for the first time as a vase. The matching vases reference the same icy reaches of Scandinavia through their textured surfaces, resembling the undulations in melting ice that ebb and flow across the North. The weighted bottom and three-footed bases make the Ultima Thule vases artful yet sturdy for bouquets, stems and branches. Each Ultima Thule vase is mouthblown at the Iittala Glass Factory in Finland, ensuring the highest craftsmanship and quality.
