The fluid lines of Alvar Aalto's 1936 design are left untouched, still beautifully illustrating the curving shores and rolling waves of Finland's many bodies of water. It takes 7 craftsmen, 12 work stages and 30 hours to create just one of these extraordinary mouth-blown vases.
