We were hesitant to purchase this sauna pail because although it is beautiful in the online photo will it be durable enough to hold up in a sauna and how much water will it hold. This pail exceeded our expectations. We were delighted the pail maintained not only a gentle warmth on the outside & inside but it held 1.5 gallons of water!

Does the aluminum become warm to the touch in the sauna?

The Aluminum may become warm, however the large, wooden handle provides protection when moving it around in the sauna while it is on. Make sure there is always water in the bucket when in use and also to remove the bucket from the sauna to dry after use.
