Spot on, the unique rounded square shape of Markku Salo's Inari Decanter is a lovely balance of hard and soft lines. The neck of this decanter is crafted from clear glass but as your eye moves down, you see the sides of the bottle slightly rise, much like shoulders of the human form.
The entire bottom of the decanter is covered in a clouded yellow layer of glass but in the center is a red speckled disk which adds an element of surprise. The lid of the decanter brings in yet another element as the flat-topped stopper adds a harder line to the overall soft piece. A conversation starter, this Markku Salo Decanter will have guests talking for years to come.
