Finnish for "wind", the Tuuli pattern was first designed by Maija and Kristina Isola in 1971. Over 40 years later, the print is still going strong and is now available on the Marimekko Tuuli Raisin Bedding Collection. Featuring 100% cotton sateen, this super soft bedding will have you wanting to curl up and read a good book in bed. Machine washable, the set features sheets, shams, and duvets.Marimekko Care Instructions

About Sateen:
The sateen weaving process places more threads on the surface of the fabric instead of equally woven within the fabric which results in a weave that is extremely soft to the touch. Slightly less durable than other weaving techniques, the extra soft and luxurious nature of sateen fabrics require a bit more care during washing.
Care: Wash in cold water on the gentle cycle. Tumble dry low. Iron on warm as needed.

Amazing purchase. I wanted this for a while and waited for a sale but had only seen it online. I got it on sale and it did not disappoint. It is artistic, silky and as beautiful as I expected. The colours are great (not too purple). I will buy Marimeko products again for sure!
