I have a table placemat collection of several different black and white designs from Marimekko, Artek and Finlayson. Likewise, a collection of different black and white napkins - also from those designers. They make a gorgeously striking table, each guest having a different configuration. I ordered these Marimekko placemats to use as napkins, rather than placemats, because they are lighter weight. They are gorgeous, with the classic Siirtolapuutarha pattern woven into the fabric, rather than printed. Completely happy to have them - you can never have enough of Marimekko.

Love the Siirtolapuutarha pattern; it's one of my favorites. The quality is great as well. I was disappointed though that because of the size they don't work with a round table. So I would recommend this for square or rectangular tables.
