Q & A
Designer Vuokko Eskolin-Nurmesniemi first created Piccolo in 1953, and it has represented Marimekko's legacy of iconic stripes ever since. Atop this 100% cotton Marimekko pot holder, the playful striped pattern is painted with vivid brushstrokes in an orange, light blue and white colorway. It adequately protects from contact heat with a durable 100% cotton exterior and 100% polyester padding. A hanging loop attaches on the edge for a pop of Piccolo in the kitchen when not in use.
