Adorned in a black and white chevron pattern called Galleria, this print was created by female artist Vuokko Eskolin-Nurmesniemi in 1954. Eskolin-Nurmesniemi designed fabric prints that were compact and small in scale but the grandiose Galleria print is her one exception.

The angles of the stripes cleverly draw the eye up the body of the dress to the wearers face. Complementing the inverted pattern, the neckline features a crisp v-neck.
