This set looks even better in person than in the photo. The red is a tomato red and the gray is a taupey gray, both of which I love. The percale is nice and smooth and washes nicely, although It does get a little wrinkled, but that is something that I can live with. My only complaint, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5, is that it does not fit a standard full/queen duvet (86x86). It measures 92x96 and I ended up having to buy a new duvet.
Pros
Love the colors
Love the fabric
Cons
It is large and I had to buy a new duvet to fit it.

Eye-catching motif

I have always admired the design sensibilities in Marimekko prints and finally decided to purchase this to try out its prints on a larger scale other than a table cloth. And i must say that the combination of the striped sheet set with the botanical motif makes the bedroom a very inviting place to be in. Definitely a change from the solid colored sheets I have been using.
Pros
Brightens up any room.
Motif on both sides of duvet
Cons
These may not bother you but unfortunately they are bugbears for me : There could be more string ties inside the duvet cover to hold the duvet in place.
Pillow cases could do with a big button to hold the opening in the middle together.
