Humbly handsome. Unglazed, the exterior of this Marimekko dish is left naked to reveal its rough, raw beauty. The face has a clear glaze for contrast in finish but remains cohesiveness in color. Terra brown stoneware has naturally occurring variations, making each a charming and unique piece of art. Like the white stoneware of other Marimekko Oiva dinnerware, this plate is microwave, oven, freezer, and dishwasher safe for daily use. It's perfect for pastas, salads, stir fry, and more thanks to the deep lip; it's a happy medium between and plate and a bowl for clever versatility.
Care: Freezer, microwave, oven and dishwasher safe.

I use this as an all purpose dish and less as a pasta dish. The diameter and depth would not handle a messy pasta with lots of sauce but is perfect for everything else.

To my surprise I use these pasta dishes every day, for salads, for pie, for thick soups, pho, bananas and cream, the works!
