The Ice Floe Platter is a multifunctional decorative object for everything from serving guests to interior design. Tapio Wirkkala designed the Ice Floe in 1976, and it is still made using the original molds handcrafted by Wirkkala himself. The platter fittingly resembles ice floes commonly seen in Finland and Nordic regions, which are large and often flat packs of floating ice.
