Finnish designer and professor Eero Aarnio is best known for his innovations in modern furniture and design, and here he expresses his love for cats through his joyful Kisu collection. Originally designed in 2020 by Aarnio and scaled down in size, make the platinum mini Kisu a permanent house guest atop a windowsill, shelf or coffee table. Cat enthusiasts will be charmed by this adorable feline figure, and it's curved back and upright tail will add a playful touch to any modern interior.
The Kisu collection is inspired by Aarnio's childhood memories at his family apartment in Kallio, where he would play with stray cats that would wander the city streets. Aarnio decided on the name "Kisu" as 'Kisumisu" was a common term of endearment for cats in the Aarnio family. Made of 100% hand-crafted and high quality ceramic, the mini Kisu is platinum-plated in a glossy silver.
