Studio Halonen

Studio Halonen (previously Halonen-Suvala) was founded by Annamaija Halonen in 1995 in Kuopio, Finland. It is there that the pieces are designed by Halonen and hand-crafted with local Finnish birch and alder. Sustainable and ecological, the pieces are hand-painted and treated with vegetable-based waxes safe for humans, animals, and the environment. The result are functional pieces pieces that retain the raw beauty of nature while creating a new, modern aesthetic.
