Large 22" Pillow Insert

I bought this 22" square insert to go inside a 19-1/2" x 19-1/2" Finlayson pillow cover. I bought one size up hoping the insert would completely fill the cover, and it worked exactly as I hoped. My kids are "pillow squashers," so it takes a firm insert to withstand their abuse. We've been using this for well over a year now and the pillow looks like new and is not downtrodden and lumpy like some past victims of my kids' sofa lounging!

I wanted to have a pillow, insert on hand when I received my pillow. I ordered the insert, and upon arrival realized that it wasn’t very full, and it was rather lumpy. It did serve the purpose until I was able to find a pillow insert that I liked better.

I was not entirely happy with these pillows (I bought 3 altogether). When fluffed up they were lumpy, with empty corners. Since discovering this implied I had opened the packages (as they were vacuum-packed), I did not feel like I could return them, but would never order one again.

The insert keeps the pillow looking fresh on the couch but is too stiff for real comfort. Hoping, that over time, it will soften.

The insert was very difficult to stuff into the pillow cover, and I worried that the zipper would break. It did not, partially due to the quality of the pillow cover. I would not buy an insert like this one again.
