This mug is the perfect size and it is heavy enough. The shape is elegant. I was immediately taken by this designer's work. I had searched through hundreds of dish designs before I found his. I look forward to seeing what he may design next. This mug is very functional as well, can be microwaved, and put in dishwasher. His designs are one-of-a-kind.

The product was great, top quality. The shipping said free if order was over $100 . There was a shipping charge and also a duty fee from FedEx that was not expected.It's possible I missed this during ordering, but that ended costings double for 2 cups.

I now own 2 each of the large iittala Taika Red, Blue, and White mugs for a total of 6. We love the fanciful designs - they never grow old. Also, the high quality of the ceramic glazes is impressive - the colors never fade and the white glaze inside the mugs do not stain. The comfortable handle and shape of the mug makes drinking from them a pleasure.

I was introduced to this China when I stayed in an Airbnb in Iceland and found it to be so delightful I decided to order several coffee mugs in different colors -very pleased!
Someone gave me a set of these years ago. I love the quality and the vibrant colors (I have the red and the blue ones.) After seeing how much these mugs were used by recent company, I ordered sets for everyone.

I know this was a sale bonus when I made my purchases of other items, but it will be used for flowers (hopefully) or maybe pencils and pens ion my desk.
Just below the lip of the mug is a hole from a chip on the inside. I can use it in a pinch, but I am not using it it for company, no matter how much I might not like them.
So far the blue owl was a hit for a valentines gift.
Will wait until June to review the other purchase until June (for another gift date)

I love the size, feel and colorful design of this mug. In winter I want a large cup of tea, coffee or hot cider. The design is pretty and playful, lifting my spirits every time I use it.
My second exact same mug, not because it broke but because it is my favorite mug! Large capacity. Beautiful pattern.
I have these in three different colors. (Red,Blue, White) They are all gorgeous. Look great and are a wonderful size for coffee. Definitely brings some elegance to your table.

We have had two of these mugs (1 rd, 1 blue) for many years. We accidentally chipped one and decided to expand to six (3 ea) for cheery but not formal company. We are thinking about giving friends a full set of table ware as a house warming gift. We are also considering other options for them so this is tentative.
Replacement for one I broke. Have three pairs (Blue, Red, White) and they are central to our 6 am coffee ritual for 10 years now!

This red Taika mug is festive and elegant for any occasion. It is definitely a great addition to Holiday season hot tea, hot chocolate or special coffee moments. I love it!
Sturdy, keeps its new look, comfortable handle, and a good capacity. This replaced an identical one that cracked after five years of use. The crack was probably user error.

Like everyone, I have collected many mugs over the years, but this is my favorite. A few years ago Finnstyle sent me a couple of blue ones as part of a promotion, and I have always preferred them - right size, right shape, easy to hold and handle - I have small hands and arthritis in my fingers. Now I have a new coffee maker and decided to celebrate by getting 2 more of these mugs. The red color is rich and very pretty - now I have 4 and don't have to worry about availability - they wont always be in the dishwasher when I need one!
