Great design and it doesn't dribble

The teapot is beautiful and easy to clean. It is slightly off-white in color, very natural. I can fit 5 cups of liquid inside it--more than the 1qt. The tea seems to stay warmer longer than my old stoneware teapot. The lid and opening fit together like a puzzle piece so that the lid won't fall out when you tip it. I love it!

Perfect daily teapot

As with all iittala, well made. Dishwasher safe makes it perfect when I don't want to waste time hand washing delicate teapots.

Yes, you want it!

A nice, flawlessly understated design which of course is a perfect match with the rest of my set. Beyond that it works functionally - yes not all teapots do that (my old one, for example) This one pours well without dripping, keeps liquids hot, and the lid stays on securely when pouring.

Globalization seems to have hit Iittala as the teapot is made in Thailand rather than Finland. No doubt it's cheaper but I do hope the Thai's also receive a living wage and benefits for their work too.

Nice teapot

Very pleased with this teapot! It's been a nice size for two people, pours well, and the lid stays on very securely. It looks classy and has the usual Iittala sturdiness. I like that it's a little taller and less wide than some other pots, which makes it easier to hold onto and pour.
