iittala Teema White Bread & Butter Plate

Perfect size for sides or snacks!

The Teema bread & butter is the perfect size and looks amazing with my other pieces of Iittala Teema.

This small plate size works for bread and butter but serves mainly as a saucer for my Teema coffee/tea cup. I sometimes use it as a spoon rest while cooking.

We love these little plates with their turned up edge. Grateful for small bites.

When purchasing my Teema dinnerware, I decided against the pre-set collection offered by iittala that included a larger side plate. I opted instead to choose open stock items, including this 17cm plate. This plate works for my family as a dessert plate; the one in the set would have been too large for us. This small plate is also handy to use as a ladle or spatula rest while cooking.

The B&B plate is the perfect size for desserts, appetizers, and, of course, bread and butter!
I wish the 16 piece starter sets included this plate. This is a must have to add to your dinnerware set and to your table.

A trip to Scandinavia is where I first saw iittala Teema, and after a couple of years of drooling over this dish ware, I started to purchase sets to replace my Dansk (also nice, but not as nice) dishware.
Like other reviewers, I can only rave. I am in love with all things Teema, Scandinavian, actually.
This dishware is the perfect example of scandi design aesthetic - clean, minimal, beautiful, functional, timeless.

These plates are must the right size for dessert or morning grapefruit. They are light weight and durable. A great addition!

I bought a couple of these for snacks and small portion, as well as a piece of toast or other small food items. The slanted sides are a big plus, and the plates look and feel very well made. Mine were made in Romania. Very pleased with these!

The first piece of Teema I purchased was a bread and butter plate. I wanted to see if I would like these brand of dishes and bought one plate to use at work. Loved it! It is beautiful and a handy size. That convinced me that I would order more.

I bought 3 of the starter sets to have place settings for 12. Teema is my daily use dinnerware and for non-formal group gatherings. I missed not having a small plate for a morning bagel, or slice of toast, or just a cookie. The bread plate size is perfect for the times you need a smaller plate than the salad plate. I only bought a few to try out, but find that I use them all of the time, so I will certainly be buying some more soon.
