I bought this cup in two sizes. This larger size is for my friends who usually want a big cup that is more the size of a mug. Both sizes are beautifully designed with practical handles. My personal wish would be for it to be a bit thinner and lighter, but it is by no means heavier than average, and some may like that this makes it less fragile.

I decided to buy these larger mugs for my Teema dinnerware set. I find that these are perfect! We use them for coffee, lattes, hot-cocoa and tea. Buying the larger size allowed me to buy the smaller Marimekko mugs to add contrast and color but still work with the Teema dinnerware. I definitely recommend this larger size for your everyday mug.

I just recieved these cups in the mail about a week ago but they seem like they are going to do the job quite nicely, I bought the double wall clear glass cups for many years but when all of my kids and their spouses come to stay with us for Holidays and are all drinking coffee they tend to try to squeeze all of the coffee cups in the dish drawer too close together and inevitably i end up with a cup with a small hairline crack in it, however the iittala cups are a good size, easy to hold, nice looking, durable, and easily stackable (the double wall cups didn't stack). In fact my husband broke another clear glass double wall cup yesterday and shattered it all over the kitchen countertop and floor, so quite dangerous.

I love how much this mug holds. The smaller version always felt too small for me. This size saves me a trip to the kitchen to get a refill.
