Like something which emerged gleaming out of Black Lava fields

I'm referring to the extraordinary, well-balanced glaze variations found on the Pentik Kiva line of anthracite black/grey dinnerware. Coupled with the hand-incised spirals on each piece, the series is an eye-catching upgrade on same-colored dishware, and has a contemporary feel. The hand-made, impeccably crafted appearance would invite comment at a fancy dinner party, and/or reward someone who is fortunate to use them everyday.

Pros
- See above comments. These pieces also make welcome gifts used for serveware, in any size.
Cons
- Underside glaze could be a bit darker grey, to help integrate two vessels which may be stacked on a table, e.g. pasta bowl on dinner plate. A small quibble.
