This candle has a wonderful quality that you see only after it's burned for a couple of hours. As it burns, the light shines through the sides to make a gorgeous glow. So it's very nice on a table for its first use, and after that I place it on a higher surface, like a mantel, to enjoy the effect of a warm red light.
