As good as my folding Janosz K-Bar tactical knife.

I own what is (according to Martiini people who reviewed it several years ago) possibly the oldest knife Janna Martiini ever hand-made (dating back to the beginning of the 20th century) that is still in existence. Its carbon-steel blade is hand engraved with a man riding a reindeer-pulled sledge & its sheath has a hand-embossed Laplander village of that era. Its handle appears to be reindeer bone. It predates the company & was hand-signed by J. Martiini himself on the blade. This modern folding tactical knife makes a wonderful bookend with my original Martiini. As thick as the steel stock of the original knife is, I can still hone it sharp enough to shave with, yet it can double for a hatchet, trimming branches for firewood & shelter in the bush.
