Q & A
Finnish for dandelion, the Marimekko Voikukka Fabric was designed in 1997 by Kristina Isola. Featuring the bright yellow flowers and the light, white wisps of the dandelion weed, this print can only mean the start of summer. The bare white background makes the flowers and leaves really pop as they stand in repeating rows of organized simplicity. Printed on 100% cotton, this print works great as a curtain valence, a summer skirt or dress, or stitched into a quilt.
