Since we bought our split king adjustable beds a few years ago, I have had the worst time finding sheets that will stay on and not pop off at the head of the bed. Marimekko sheets, along with being my favorite designed bed linens, are perfect and don't pop off the bed. They come right out of the first wash soft yet crisp, as cotton percale sheets should. We love them.

In winter I usually prefer flannel sheets because we sleep in a cool bedroom. But these sheets are so smooth, soft and comfortable I don't care that they're not as warm when you first get into bed. Also, I had no idea flannel was so coarse in comparison.
I too have a less deep mattress so was wondering if Marimekko designers could create shirred corners, or velcro tucks somehow so us narrow matters owners don't have have these less than ideal baggy fitted sheets.

I love the design and the feel of the sheets. So silky and lovely. But the fitted sheet is so huge. It hangs way over the edge and comes loose after use and is not nice and tight at all. I can't really use it the way it is. I hate these huge fitted sheets. I think they are made to fit these huge mattresses but not everyone has those. I will try and sew it smaller but I'm very sad to have to put more time into doing that.
