I bought these placemats for my dining table to coordinate with the same black/green colors of my kitchen tea towels. The Unikko pattern is a favorite of mine and I have these placemats in other colors, too. The black and dark khaki color add a more formal look.
Are these placemats able to be washed - and successfully?

Marimekko Cotton Placemats can be successfully washed at 40 Degrees Celsius. They can also be ironed. It is recommended not to tumble dry or use bleach.
