This beautiful Marimekko morning robe is made from a soft and breathable cotton-linen blend. It features side seam pockets and a detachable belt, and features Maija Isola's Lokki (Seagull) print. The idea for the pattern came to her while looking at a window with a curtain drawn across it. The folds in the curtain formed wavy shadows in the sun, and she was inspired by how even a piece of flat fabric can appear abundant in depth with a subtle wave.

There was not a lot of information about the fabric in the description, other than it is a cotton/linen blend, so I assumed it would be woven. It turns out it’s the softest knit fabric instead, breathable but with a bit of weight to it, and incredibly cozy.
