Q & A
The Lokki Pergola (Seagull) print combines two rhythmic Maija Isola designs from the 1960s. In this modern, contemporary interpretation created by Marimekko’s design team in collaboration with the Isola family, horizontal meets vertical resulting in a successful interaction. This Marimekko coffee cup set of two features two different patterns, one overlapping and the other fitting perfectly together. The mix of brown and light pink creates a tone that feels both warm and modern. The white stoneware is microwave, oven-freezer, and dishwasher-safe so it can be used for coffee, tea, hot chocolate and more everyday with convenience.
