Kaukokaipuu is the feeling of homesickness for a place you've never been to. An unshakable longing for a place faraway or even imaginary is a strange but relatable phenomenon for many, but it's a feeling that only the Finns have a word for. Filled with exotic flowers in a lush field of green, the Kaukokaipuu pattern by Maija Louekari looks like it could be that place we all dream of. This Marimekko fabric has been printed in Finland and coated in acrylic to keep messes at bay, making it perfect for crafting table linens and placemats.

Please note: This fabric is coated in acrylic, not PVC as Marimekko fabric previously was. Although it is less shiny and smooth than the PVC fabrics, it has even greater benefits. A safe and eco-friendly alternative, acrylic-coating has better stain repellent qualities than PVC, is machine-washable, and is foldable without leaving marks on the fabric.
This Marimekko fabric is sold by the yard. Enter desired quantity of yards in the Yards box. If you order multiple yards, they will remain intact.
