best urban backpack ever!!!

I bought this backpack in grey about 4 years ago in Berlin. I was immediately fascinated by how light it was. When I brought it to Oslo, it was a nice surprise to find out that the material was very water resistant to begin with. Water resistance lasted quite long, as I wash the backpack every once in a while. It is incredibly spacious: returning from work and doing groceries for dinner, it would fit most of the things. But it is still smaller than a backpack you need for 2-3 days hiking in the woods, so sometimes you would end up carrying some extra groceries in your hand. I estimate the maximum capacity to be approx 18-20 L. Though the fabric is light and technically "advanced", being water resistant, the rest of the features are straight-forward. One large opening, three side pockets and one (or two?) smaller, "hidden" pockets on the back. Note the two rings hanging from each side - I clip on reflex figures (of course, Marimekko's are the coolest) in the winter as it is very dark here in Oslo - so yes, it would also make a very good and stylish school bag. The big opening has two zippers and a slight disappointment happened when one of them lost its "handle" after heavy use. Otherwise the zippers are of high quality. Remember that you can put a heavier rain cover over it for extra safety and rain protection. I do not recommend it for sports, however, as it lacks some features. But I need to stress that it has side reflex lines to add to the safety in the dark. I adore it.
Pros
- light, elegant, water resistant
