What is a fitted sheet and a flat sheet? I am a scandinavian net-shopper, and do not know these terms. We use pillows and duvets. I am looking for bedsheets to go for my pillowcase 50x70 and duvet ca. 140x200m. Which to choose?

A fitted sheet hugs your mattress with elastic edging on the corners of the sheet. The flat sheet is just a standard sheet. The sizing of these bedding items are European, so if you usually get standard for your pillows, they should work. The dimensions of the sheets are listed below the price on each product page for the bedding.
Are these xl twin, which should be about 36x80? The description in the drop box says twin xl, but the measurements down below on reference a standard twin size. This is for a college dorm room. Thx
