Called Villiyrtit (Wild Herb), this pattern was designed by Matti Pikkujämsä, who won "Illustrator of the Year" in 2019. It's woven in shades of black and natural ivory linen so it appears a lived-in grey from afar. The 100% washed linen is relaxed, easy to care for, and multifunctional. This reversible linen can be used as a tablecloth or a blanket. Use it for light coverage on summer nights, or add a lay of texture to a casual place setting. It could even be used as a curtain! Lapuan Kankurit is part of the Masters of Linen, which means that the materials used are of the best European quality. The ecological flax is grown in Normandy, Europa and is traceable 100% long staple linen yard. These yards as both spun and dyed in Europe according to REACH regulations and fulfil the ÖKO-TEX certificate requirements. The piece is then woven in Lapuan Kankurit's main weaving mill in Lapua, Finland.

I had my eye on this for several months on a couple of European websites but no one in the United States carried it until Finn Style made it available. I purchased it to use as a summer throw. It is heavy linen-exactly what I wanted. Memorial Day Sale pricing made it more affordable. It is a lovely thing and I'm sure I'll enjoy it for years to come. Thank-you, Finn Style!!
Pros
