I just tried this out in our sauna. It is super absorbent without being too thick/heavy. The extra length is nice for laying the towel on the sauna bench. The slightly coarse (yet soft) feel is great to act a bit like a loofah on your skin. Don't let the texture scare you when the towels first arrive. After they're washed once, they are softer and good to go. Highly recommend.
