Lapuan Kankurit teamed up with illustrator Teemu Järvi to create the lovely tea towel. Made from a blend of linen and organic cotton, white and black threads give the appearance of different grey tones for stunning texture and dimension. It's a wonderful gift for the holidays, as it can be used to wrap another gift like a bottle of wine or homemade loaf of bread. It can be loved and used for drying hands and dishes year round, though. In Finland, reindeer (Poro) aren't just meaningful during the holiday season. With the number of reindeer in Finland roughly equal to the number of people living there, it's become somewhat of a Lapland icon.
Care: Machine washable. Follow instructions on tag. Also has looped tag for hanging.

This tea towel is too pretty to use. Instead, I use it as a wall hanging (wooden magnet frame) in our sauna dressing area. It hangs beside a Finnish poster and reminds me of the country who brought us the sauna. The tea towel is well made and there are other similar towels from the same company with wildlife themes.

Wow! This woven towel has the reindeer woven into the pattern. We'll only use this on special occasions because it is a work of art!
