how are these seat covers different from a tea towel, place mat, in thickness, texture? Thinner, coarser?

The size is larger than a tea towel or place mat would be. They are made of linen and organic cotton and designed for the sauna. It is not a "thin" product. It has a good weight to it.
why does the other cover say wash separately from other laundry but this one doesn't?
