I have owned this necklace for over five years now. I have gotten compliments on it's unique and pretty design. The silver is a light matte pale silver color, very fresh looking. It is sturdy quality. The large removable snow crystal is just under 1" in diameter. The smaller ones are just over 1/2" in diameter. On large sweater knits the snow crystal design can catch in the yarn but not a problem on normal tighter weaves. The necklace did tarnish but cleans up easily with silver polish. This was a gift which I have really enjoyed.
