The “Made in Helsinki” collection of jewelry from Kalevala Koru and this silver pendant draw its name from Finland’s capital city, which has been honored with the title of World Design Capital 2012. Designer Vesa Nilsson has included designs on the pendant inspired by architectural details of the University Museum Arppeanum in the Helsinki borough of Kruununhaka. The main pendant takes its motif from the museum’s ornate metal doors. The clasp is decorated with a round mini-pendant, adding another focal point of visual interest. The chain is adjustable from 16" to 18" (42 to 45 cm).
