2015 marks the 100th anniversary since Tapio Wirkkala’s birth, and this beautiful mouth-blown glass bottle is the perfect commemoration and celebration of his life and works. Based on a 1959 design by Wirkkala, the object’s soft curves and unique imperfections are a reflection of the Finnish-made craftsmanship and only enhance the lush moss hue of the glass. Only 2015 of this limited edition bottle have been blown, and each is engraved and numbered on the base to ensure authenticity and further memorialize the meaning behind the beauty. Use the bottle as a vase to hold one or two of your favorite flowers or let it stand alone as the timeless art piece it is.
