Reflecting the bird’s soft nature, the Siberian Jay is cozily colored in stormy gray across its chest and back but don’t become too subdued; its entire underside and tail are speckled in a bright and bubbly orange hue.A crystal clear head sits directly atop of its body and serves as a showcase for the bird’s flashy metallic beak, which adds adorable flair. The 2011 collection of birds by Oiva Toikka are individually mouth-blown by the master glassblowers at iittala’s glassworks shop. Each handcrafted iittala Toikka Siberian Jay carries the signature “O. Toikka” on its base to ensure its authenticity.
