Q & A
A Museum of Glass bird only available in North America to exclusive retailers, the iittala Toikka Ruddy Duck is limited to 300 and numbered on the base accordingly. There you will also find Oiva Toikka's signature as a special reminder of the bird's authenticity, special story and mouth-blown craftsmanship. Toikka was inspired by the real life "Ruddy Duck" bird, indigenous to the Pacific Northwest. It too shares a striking blue beak on a half white, half colored head. Toikka's rendition gives the brown body a special iridescent quality along the back and captures the species' distinctive, upturned tail.

FinnStyle provided a GREAT price for this and another Toikka bird for my wife's collection. The packaging was very good, no damages, and the package arrived just days after I ordered, despite the holiday timing and pandemic volume pressures for shippers.

I bought this bird for a wedding gift for a person with Finnish heritage. I am sure they will enjoy it. Great price, too.
