Only 300 of the Owlet Lumi have been produced, and each is signed and numbered. It was designed by Oiva Toikka for the Museum of Glass in Tacoma and mouth-blown by the iittala glass masters in Finland. This adorable demeanor and alluring details of this US-exclusive bird make it a must-have for collectors. Lumi is the Finnish word for snow hence snowy owl. Although on the smaller side, what do you expect for an owlet? A lovely addition to my owls. One can't have too many Toikka birds.
