Sprinkled with golden flecks and spots across its pearl-grey body, the bird sits proud, it’s crystal clear head and beak resting atop a translucent, mouth-blown body. The golden spots catch the light, giving the bird a moment to sparkle.
As a part of the 2012 collection, the Hiplu celebrates 40 years of innovative and stylish Oiva Toikka birds. Each bird is handmade at iittala’s famous glassworks in Nuutajärvi, Finland and carries a mark ensuring authenticity.
