I bought a single red bread and butter and a couple salad plates for Christmas, but found I was using them once the holidays passed, so I ordered another bread and butter. Very nice red, not too bright and not too muted.

We have had a collection of navy and white Teema bread and butter plates that have been perfect for many uses -- not just bread. Then, sadly someone dropped one of the navy ones which are no longer available. I ordered this red one to replace it and now my family are always reaching for the red one. It adds a great pop of color and I can already see the potential for a 4th of July setting.

This pattern from Iittala is a classic. The colors are always beautiful, and it comes out of the dishwasher in impeccable shape. Love the weight of the plates. Some of my Teema is twenty years old and some just came on the Fedex truck! All combine to make a very beautiful table setting.
