I ordered this set of 2 iittala coffee mugs for Mother’s Day; one for my mother in law and one for me. These certainly don’t disappoint. The graphics and color are beautiful. I already had a white anniversary mug but wanted the red one to complete my set. My mother in law was very happy with her mug as she is from Finland and treasures anything Finnish. I like that these mugs can go in the dishwasher and do not fade; the glaze is very shiny and protects the color. I got my first iittala mug 7 years ago and it still looks brand new.

The shape, design and colors are lovely. AND these are tough mugs! Only complaint is that when I ordered these (with a few other things) I was supposed to get some candy . Oh well, my waistline is better off!

Features to admit:Cup shape, weight, size, painted design , ordered red pair on sale to replace half those ‘’borrowed’ by admirers. ( if lucky, will find 2 white or blue on sale some day)
