Of course I purchased this to line up my small Vitriini boxes. It's unique for that. The wood isn't very special, but it is solid with "iittala" burnt on the bottom. As with many iittala items, the price is higher than the worth of the material, but I'm very pleased to have this on my bedside.

This tray is the perfect size for four of the small Vitriini boxes to sit nicely side by side. The tray is solid wood and is a nice compliment to show off the pretty little boxes with an ideal, finished look.
