Designer Philippe Malouin creates a new way to store and display with the Kuru collection. The distinct and sculptural pieces are designed to be grouped together in harmony, or stand solo as a piece of functional art. This trough-style bowl shows the beauty of simple geometry and gravity. An incomplete base gives the basin the illusion of floating on one side, and also gives the piece an interesting, asymmetrical edge. Use this as a key bowl, jewelry dish, or catch-all for headphones, sunglasses, office supplies, and more. Handcrafted in Finland from grey-hued ceramic, it has a modern matte finish with subtle eggshell texture.
