Beautiful version of a classic vase

I love this vase--who wouldn't? I own a version in deep blue, and needed a really special gift as a thank you to a friend and colleague. This struck me as the ideal gift, especially since she has recently moved to a very modern apartment.
It's a lovely vase; but also a beautiful object on its own. It's hard to top Aalto design.
