Two famous Finnish manufactures come together to create a classical piece that remains popular today. The Maribowl shape was a very common design in the early 20th century, however Armi Ratia (Marimekko founder) took its shape and collaborated with iittala to create a colored glass bowl using Marimekko's color palette. The beautiful vibrant Mariskooli or Maribowls have been around since the 1960s, but it wasn’t until Armi Ratia used these bowls to serve up delights to her guest at one of her famous garden parties that brought these bowls into the light. The offcial Mariskooli bowl was originally used as a sugar bowl, but is now used for various of purposes around the home.
