This is the first time I have purchased this type of ball candle. In order to secure it, I decided to use a heavy pewter candle holder with a wide base. Then I wrapped the short stem of the candle with a strip of aluminum foil before placing it in the candle holder. Now that I see it will not tip over from "possibly" being top heavy in tall candle holders, I will be ordering more colors.

Footed ball candles, for which Festivo candlesticks were designed, have been impossible to find except for an occasional eBay listing for vintage products. It is wonderful that Finnstyle was able to find a manufacturer capable of producing so many colors. These are a particularly beautiful red tone.
