This pattern is absolutely timeless. I bought my first pieces in Finland in 1982, 40 years ago, and I still still love the lines, color, and durability. They do not get those black lines in them and they are dishwasher safe.

The Arabia Arctica line is wonderful and last forever....I bought this set in 1982 and decided to add to it so that I have a service for 13 people. And the new bowls PERFECTLY matched the set in my kitchen.....you can microwave, freeze and use them in an oven.....they are beautiful!
